Michael G. Laramie: Military History Writer

Mr. Laramie is a military history writer and the author of five books, The European Invasion of North America: Colonial Conflict along the Hudson-Champlain Corridor, By Wind and Iron: Naval Campaigns in the Champlain Valley, 1665-1814, King William’s War: The First Contest for North America, 1689-1697, Gunboats, Muskets, and Torpedoes: Coastal North Carolina, 1861-1865, and Colonial Forts of the Champlain and Hudson Valleys: Sentinels of Wood and Stone. He has also published articles in Vermont HistoryThe Journal of America’s Military Past, and Military History Magazine, among others. He resides with his family in the mountains of sunny Arizona.
